Screenshots, annotations, OCR text, QR results, projects, tags and app preferences are processed and stored locally on your Mac. Snipray does not upload this content to a Snipray server.

Purchases

Snipray uses Apple’s App Store and RevenueCat to offer and restore optional lifetime in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier so purchases can be validated and entitlements restored. Snipray does not receive or store payment-card details.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Snipray has no advertising, does not use advertising identifiers and does not track you across apps or websites. It does not use third-party product analytics.

Permissions

Snipray requests macOS Screen & System Audio Recording permission only to capture the screen you select. It may also request access to folders you explicitly choose for saving screenshots. These permissions are used only to provide the requested functionality.

Sharing and deletion

Your content leaves your Mac only when you explicitly export, copy or share it using macOS or another application. You control the files Snipray creates and can delete captures, its local library and its preferences at any time.
